I have a shameful admission. Only it’s not really shameful or an admission. It’s more like happy gloating. Yeah, we’ll call it that.
When the new purchasable mount was announced I oohed and I aahhed and then I decided there was pretty much no way I was going to get it. I was able to justify the sparkle pony before on the grounds that I would never have to purchase any mount on any character ever again, but since I still get a new one every time I make a new character, that excuse doesn’t really work.
Neither does the one where it would help me get my 100 mounts, since I managed that a while ago and even though I love the mount I got as a reward for that, I have never spent much time on it. After all, the rocket is where it’s at.
So I was content to look at it and admire it and never spend a dime on it.
And then I got an email containing a code for it from a good friend and I squeed and redeemed it, as is proper. I then logged into the game and yanked it out of every mailbox I have.
So, to my friend who shall remain anonymous but who knows who they are, thank you again. You’re awesome for thinking of me!

And all I got from my friend was a moonkin hatchling! (Nah, I love my li’l hatchling, it’s adorable!)
It’s a cool looking mount. Who doesn’t want a shiny lion? I’d get it if I could have convinced myself I had the money, sadly I can’t.
Does it make noise? Like a proper roar? Or does it talk like Aslan?

You know, I never have my game sounds playing. I think it roars, according to what I could hear out of At’s speakers.
If I ever get a real job, perhaps I will cook up another lame contest. Though I am desirous of the moonkin hatchling, so I have to get some priorities straight in my own head first! :P
